The beech wood in Srebrenica is the best in the world, says Neven. He's working with it every day. We met him because we wanted to start a clothing production in Srebrenica. Then we found out that the cotton factory had been bought by a company that would make spaghetti. So, we visited other companies in Srebrenica, and ended up in the front office of Suvenir Wood factory. Simon, who's an architect and designer from Copenhagen, made a simple chair to test the production. But chairs aren't simple. They're supposed to look light and elegant, but have to be solid enough to be sat on a lot. This is our first prototype. We'll make some adjustments and start producing it soon.
